Our Story
Over 70 Texas makers, one historic roof
The Collective is a curated multi-vendor boutique and artisan marketplace in the heart of historic downtown Conroe, Texas. Formerly known as the Conroe Collective, the shop was reimagined under new ownership as The Collective in Downtown Conroe — but the heart of it stayed the same: give independent Texas makers a real storefront, and give the community a curated place to support them.
Step inside and you won't find a single brand. You'll find a community. Nearly 70 local vendors and artists fill the space with locally created gifts, home decor and boutique finds, all organized into welcoming themed rooms that make it easy to wander, browse, and discover something you didn't know you were looking for.
The shop is set in the historic State Hotel building, giving downtown Conroe one more reason to stop, stay a while, and shop small. And because no good browse is complete without a good drink, there's an in-house coffee stand right inside — so you can sip while you shop the rooms.
Our ethos is simple: champion small Texas makers, keep curated style welcoming and accessible, and make the act of shopping local feel like a visit, not a transaction.
